Increased Awareness
Over the past decade, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math students have received quite a bit of attention. I am happy to see this growing attention. We really need more young people to get involved in the technology space. In the last decade a number of impressive organizations have emerged to address the STEM shortage. There is one in particular, within the St. Louis Dominant Market area, The Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an international not-for-profit education organization founded in April 1986 by the families of the astronauts tragically lost during the Challenger space shuttle mission.
The St. Louis location is part of a growing network of approximately 50 Challenger Learning Centers located throughout the world and serves groups throughout the greater St. Louis region. They have positively impacted young minds locally and around the globe. Here’s to continued success for The Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis!
